When we speak about the subjects of approaching women, or how to approach women, we invariably come up with the skill of conversation being integral to the skill of how to approach women effectively.
I've always praised at my ability to initiate conversation with anybody at any time about anything - even when there is apparently "nothing to talk about". It's a knack I have and in this write-up I will tell you the SIMPLE secret to my success.
The best way to spark a conversation is to ask questions. Too easy? Well, let me show.
What do you ask questions regarding?
Well, I always just ask questions about whatever I want to know. It varies from person to person. But usually if I am meeting someone new I might ask questions such as "Do you have brothers and sisters?" "Do you get along with your parents?" "Do you have a lot of friends?"
Usually a person talks for a while when answering and that lends you more data to ask some more questions about. Often I will make a comment if it is correct or if they ask me a question in response to my question I just answer their question then ask them a different one of my questions.
The hard times are when people just give you "yes" and "no" type answers. That doesn't leave much to work off of.
When I sense the situation is annoying or the person isn't conversing much (like the above "yes" and "no" answers), then I talk about how painful the situation is. Say something like "This is awful. I feel so awkward. I don't know what to say. Do you feel awkward too?"
Usually you can get a little discussion going on that topic and minimize a lot of stress just by admitting that you feel awkward and don't know what to speak about. Then move onto a question like "Ok, let's look at what we can talk about. What are your interests? Do you have any hobbies?"
Another questioning approach is to notice what a person puts their concentration on and talk about or ask questions about that. So, for instance, if you are in a restaurant and the person you are dating isn't conversing much, just reading the menu, you might say "Kind of an interesting menu. What appears good to you?" That might trigger a conversation about food items or restaurants and menus, etc.
This technique is also good for meeting outsiders. If you are in a grocery store next to some one interesting who is looking at "lamb chops" you might say: "I see you are interested in the lamb chops. Do you know a good way to prepare them, I've always wished to try them, but actually don't know how to cook them."
Remember also that you are not always going to get along with everyone you meet. So if you try, try, and try to find a decent conversation going and it doesn't happen then this is probably not the best person for you.
